Project details

Overview

SoleBook is an AI-assisted cash-discipline product for Sri Lankan sole proprietors and SMEs. This repository ships a multilingual (English, Sinhala, Tamil) Next.js landing site and a validated waitlist API with Supabase persistence, plus a written integration contract between SoleBook and Srijaya ERP — authenticated, idempotent payment routes and privacy-aware financial snapshots.

Built during a Cursor Buildathon. Write-up: building-solebook-at-cursor-buildathon.

Problem

Sole proprietors mix personal and business cash. Generic accounting tools do not explain why money should be reserved for tax, rent, or owner salary. SoleBook’s north star is explainable allocation and obligation forecasting; this repo proves the product surface and the ERP handshake.

What I built

  • Multilingual marketing site and waitlist (duplicate-safe)
  • Supabase persistence with a graceful development fallback
  • SoleBook ↔ Srijaya ERP integration contract (auth, idempotent payments, snapshots)
  • Product roadmap for cash allocation, obligation forecasting, reserve planning, and owner-salary discipline

Impact

  • Public narrative of an AI finance product grounded in a real ERP (Srijaya), not a toy dashboard
  • Buildathon artifact that doubled as a serious product brief
  • Localization from day one for Sri Lankan operators

Key features

  • English / Sinhala / Tamil waitlist UX
  • Validated API with duplicate handling
  • Documented ERP payment and privacy contract
  • Roadmap for explainable cash allocation (engine not fully shipped in this repo)

Technologies

Next.js 16, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Supabase. Cursor was used as the primary build environment.

My role

Product design, localization, waitlist API, and the ERP integration spec. Ongoing product work continued after the first commits.
